Advice Direct Scotland’s ‘Countdown to Christmas’ campaign will take place between Wednesday 1st December 2021 and Sunday 2nd January 2022.
The campaign aims to share advice and information on a range of subjects, looking at how Scottish citizens can enjoy the festive period in safe and cost-effective ways, avoiding overspending and being left with a financial headache in the new year.
Brits are expected to spend an estimated £84.7 billion this Christmas, with many turning to online shopping again this year.
For many of us, the way we shop has changed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and it has never been more important to be a savvy-shopper to avoid being caught out by counterfeit goods, opportunistic scammers, and deals that are too-good-to-be-true.
Throughout the festive season, we will be looking at the key areas of advice and support that are available to Scottish citizens to help make Christmas 2021 as enjoyable as possible.
